The Trelan Model 4800-RC is equipped with remote controls for the customer who is looking for a chipper that is built to be fed with an auxiliary loader. This unit is remote controlled and must never be hand fed.

The Model 4800-RC is equipped with a large in-feed opening that is coupled with a very aggressive Reverse Pivot Top Feed Wheel that works in conjunction with a pair of bottom feed wheels. This unique system is referred to as our Tri-Feed System and it is driven by two very large Industrial Hydraulic Motors making this machine able to handle that limby material with ease.

The Model 4800-RC is in a category known as Industrial Chippers due to the fact that it is larger and built heavier than those chippers known as commercial chippers. What sets it apart is its hydraulic system, axle sizes, replaceable belly bands, heavy duty anvils with anvil inserts, and heft of iron utilized throughout the machine.
