The Model 4800-L is built for the customer who is looking for a chipper that is very rugged and portable.

The Trelan Model 4800-L is equipped with a Trelan 1500 Knuckle Boom Loader. This is a loader-fed unit and must never be hand-fed. The Model 4800-L is equipped with a large in-feed opening that is coupled with a very aggressive Reverse Pivot Top Feed Wheel that works in conjunction with a pair of bottom feed wheels. This unique system is referred to as our Tri-Feed System and it is driven by two very large Industrial Hydraulic Motors making this machine able to handle that limby material with ease.
